Sky Tour in the Bronx
Since spending a lot of time in the Bronx, I have begun to develop a deep love for the Bronx. The Bronx is unlike any borough with it's multicultural atmosphere and it's unique identity. I don't know if it is the notorious graffiti sprayed across most the buildings or the popular tourist attractions, but in many ways, the Bronx has become my favorite borough.
Regardless of my deep love for the Bronx, I will admit that the Bronx is not always the safest neighborhood to be exploring. Considering this fact, one of my favorite ways to tour the Bronx is just by riding the subway.
Once the subway reaches the Bronx, the tracks go from being below the city to being above it. This transition provides the best and probably safest way to see the Bronx. From displays of graffiti-ed buildings to vistas of the cityscape, the green line on the subway provides the perfect way to sample the borough .
And, whenever you want to go back, all you have to do is leave your train and get on one headed back home.
