Walking around the Garment District can be exhausting, you go from shop to shop for several blocks. Your stomach is grumbling and you just want to find a place to eat, but you want to pick a good place. I got just the place for ya, Lazzara's Pizza joint. This place is authentic New York pizza that will blow your mind.

Lazzara's Pizza is located at 221 West 38th Street, on the second floor in the Garment District. The restaurant opened here back in 1985 and has been known for their thin crust pizza. Their menu consists of a variety of Italian food from pastas, calzones, soups, and salads. The prices are pretty reasonable for the amount of food you get varying anywhere from 5-20 dollars.

Quincy and I ordered the cheese pizza and it was delicious. The crust was cooked to perfection, the cheese oozed off our plate, and each bite tasted better than the other. My favorite part about this pizza was it doesn’t make you feel gross and heavy. Even though it is a greasy food you don’t get that sick oh crap I ate too much feeling you usually get from Dominos. Not only was the food good the service was wonderful, they make sure you are taken care of by filling up your water, giving you recommendations, and being a nice thoughtful waiter.
I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the Garment District, this pizza is one of the best I’ve ever had.
