Churches on Malcom X
As we have explored Malcom X street, (also known as Lenox Avenue) in Harlem it seemed to be impossible to ignore the amount of churches on each side of the street. Within 8 blocks we had witnessed up to 10 church buildings containing very different doctrine.
My overall experience here has made me more interested in the wide range of religion within this community. Every single church had it's own title and discrepancy to their beliefs and ritual. It is safe to say that it is understandable how Joseph Smith had somewhat of a difficulty when it came to deciding which church to join on the block. It is assumed that all of these churches listed are open to welcome visitors by sharing with others their way of love and worship for their religion.
