Tompkins Square Bagels


Tompkins Square Bagels is an East Village neighborhood shop that truly welcomes anyone. Whether you're a student at NYU, a local teacher, on your way to work, or just a tourist in the city, all are meant to feel at home when visiting. With a variety of bagels, cream cheeses, breakfast sandwiches, specialty sandwiches, salads, pastries and sweets, you could never get tired of this place.

Bagels: plain, whole wheat, sourdough, french toast, everything, onion, egg, sesame, poppy, multigrain, salt, garlic, pumpernickel, cinnamon raisin, blueberry, chocolate chip, and pumpkin. (some of these vary seasonally)

Cream Cheese Flavors: plain, scallion, bacon herb, apple cinnamon, walnut raisin, light: plain, veggie, scallion, jalapeno cheddar, berry berry, pumpkin, cheese, scallion w/ bacon, chocolate chip cookie dough, lox spread, birthday cake, veggie, sun-dried tomato, wasabi, olive-pimento, strawberry, blueberry, chipotle avocado, fresh bacon w/ cream, fresh bacon w/ scallion, espresso, cucumber dill, peanut butter dip

Prices at Tompkins Square Bagels range anywhere between $2.00 to $15.00 depending on the type of sandwich, add ons, or cream cheese you get. But I guarantee that it is well worth your money. If you want to pay less than $5.00, I highly recommend getting the French Toast bagel with the strawberry cream cheese.

IMPORTANT: Tompkins Square Bagels does not accept card, and although they have an ATM in the store, to avoid the ATM fees come with cash.

To get to Tompkins Square Bagels take a 4, 5, or 6 to Union Square Subway and then transfer to an L where you will get off at 1st Ave and from there walk 0.3 miles.
