Coney Island

Coney Island is one of the most unique places you can visit in New York, mainly because it’s the totally opposite of what comes to mind when you think of New York seeing that it is an amusement park at a beach! It makes for the perfect day away from the city with its combination of fun and relaxation. With the music, the smell of carnival food and the feeling of sand between your toes, you can’t help but smile the whole time you’re there!

The most popular ride in the park is the Cyclone Roller coaster. It was built in 1927 and is the 16th oldest roller coaster in the world! If roller coasters aren’t for you, sitting on the sand and walking the boardwalk makes for an equally fun day. There is something for everyone and fun to be had! Just hop on the Q train and ride it to the Coney Island stop!
