Grand Central Terminal
Grand Central Terminal is located on 42nd Street and is open to visitors practically 24-hours a day. It closes between 2 AM and 5:30 AM, which is not a time you should be out and about anyways. You can find almost anything you need at Grand Central with its more-than 35 shops and 30 dining options! Even if you don’t have a train to catch, there’s plenty for you to do at Grand Central. Grab a bite to eat, do some shopping, listen to a street performer, and watch the people rushing around you.
If you’re there with a friend, make sure to check out the Whispering Gallery, a room with special acoustics that allow you to whisper into a corner and hear the whispers clearly in the opposite corner. It’s surprisingly fun to whisper your deepest, darkest secrets into a corner and know that someone 20 feet away from you can hear them.
