MULTIMEDIAJOURNALISM

This is course is a special hybrid section of Comms 328 (Backpack Journalism) and Comms 420 (Advanced Print Reporting). It is offered specifically as a substitute for Comms 420, meaning you should already have some basic video production abilities. We will practice mobile media video and photographic techniques for multiple online and social platforms and our reportage will include news coverage of government, courts, education, business, international, or legal issues. Coverage and stories will be coordinated and edited by the Universe editorial staff. Learning outcomes are listed in the syllabus.
