The Times Square Zipper

You see them everywhere and not just in Times Square—signs that spell out news and advertising. ABC has a big, beautiful version at its Times Square Good Morning America studio. One of the first one of these signs appeared in 1928. The New York Times installed it on Times Tower in time for election night. People thought it was amazing!
