Photo management

If you use a Mac chances are you are using Apple's native Photo app. There are some great things about the app—it's simple and syncs with the Apple Cloud, meaning your photos sync with all your devices. But serious photographers swear by Adobe Lightroom. Its editing tools are more complex, provides great organizational tools, and allows you to store photos in multiple places (as opposed to Apple's Photo app, which stores all photos in a single archival file).
