Storytelling with video

One of the wonderful things about multimedia video is the opportunity to break out of the television news format and get creative. I really like this story, which was a collaboration between NPR's Planet Money, and PBS Newshour.

The following is an example of a backpack journalism story that mixes stills and video. The entire piece was shot with a DSLR.
