"Guys, I'm selling Tamales"

“Excuse me, guys. I’m selling tamales.”

This is Silvia Martinez’s constant refrain as she knocks on doors and sells tamales to Provo’s residents every weeknight. Martinez, a mild-mannered woman from Acatlan, Mexico, created the Tamale at Home business with her family. She, her husband Miguel Hernandez and their son spend hours every morning making tamales from scratch, and Hernandez drops his family members off on their tamale-selling routes every night.
