Why Bald Eagles fly to Utah
Every winter bald eagles from Canada and Alaska travel to an ecological “jewel,” the Great Salt Lake. Approximately 1,200 bald eagles migrate to Utah each year where they are welcomed by carp and great habitats throughout the freshwater bays to the marshes of the Great Salt Lake.
